Dragon Ball Z: The History of Trunks is the second short film based on the episodes of Dragon Ball Z. Released in Japan on February 24, 1993, Funimation later released an English dub and played on October 25, 2000.

This plot tells the story of the future of Gohan & Trunks when the Goku group dies in the hands of the evil Android. Gohan & Trunks are two lucky warriors who survived and they trained to protect peace in this world. In particular, the film is based on a short chapter from the original series called “Trunks The History – The Lone Warrior”.

Plot

Goku suffers from a severe illness caused by a virus and dies, leaving pain for his family and teammates (May 12, 767). Half a year later, Android 17 and 18 are activated and attack Earth. One by one, Goku fights them and takes a tragic death – Future Yamcha, Future Vegeta, Future Tenshinhan, Future Krillin … and the departure of Future Piccolo also means God is dead, the Goku group can’t use dragon ball to revive.

The future seemed hopeless, only the Future Bulma, Future Trunks and Future Gohan … luckily survived.

Future Gohan tries to practice revenge for his relatives and family. When he thinks about the death of the most beloved, he gets angry and becomes Super Saiyan.

The ruthless Android’s destruction continues, and Future Trunks has matured and he meets Future Gohan before the ruins they cause. Witnessing such inhuman actions, Future Trunks asks Gohan to teach him how to fight.

During a break after training, Future Trunks and Future Gohan sit down and talk to each other. But the conversation ended when both of them heard that the Androids were beginning to wreak havoc in an Amusement Park, both of them immediately approached and engaged them.

Entering the battle, Future Gohan turned into Super Saiyan and fought separately with Android Number 17. With his power, Gohan took advantage of the evil Android but Android 18 entered and both dominated Gohan. Future Trunks is uneasy, so he comes to the aid, but due to the power being too different, he is easily defeated by them. Trunks is in jeopardy, when he sees Android 18 attempting to finish off the boy, Future Gohan rushes in and helps him. He hugged Trunks in his arms and ran away from the Android’s quest. In the end, because they couldn’t find the two of them, they all unleashed the area.

The Androids left the area, fortunately Future Gohan was still alive, but he lost a hand and was seriously injured. In that moment, Gohan tried to get close to Future Trunks, he took the magic bean bag and gave Trunks the last pea and fainted.

After treating the wound, Future Gohan and Future Trunks continued their training. Some time later, the Androids attacked the neighboring cities. Future Gohan attempts to fight a mortal battle with them, Future Trunks wants to join him, Gohan agrees but fights Trunks. He didn’t want him to be in danger like the last time, for his brother was the last hope of mankind.

Entering the battle, even with one hand Future Gohan is still stronger than Android 17, but the number 18 has entered and is determined to destroy Gohan. With the power of two artificial people, they easily overwhelmed and killed him.

After regaining consciousness, Future Trunks immediately searches for Gohan, but all that remains is the brave warrior’s body in the pool of blood. In pain and anger, Future Trunks has turned into Super Saiyan.

In 783, Trunks alone fought with Android 17 & 18 and failed completely. Future Bulma has decided to return Trunks to the past to bring Goku medicine and create a brighter future. Eventually after 1 year, Future Trunks launched the Time Machine to the present world.

Heart Virus (心 臓 病 Shinzōbyō) is an extremely dangerous virus that can be lethal, even to a powerful warrior like Goku who must also die.

Overview

There is no exact name for this Heart virus, when a person is infected with the Heart Virus, the body will gradually become tired and in pain. The transformation into Super Saiyan causes side effects to accelerate the pain further.

Story

Timeline of Future Trunks

According to what Trunks said, Goku in his timeline died of Tim’s virus, not long after, Goku’s group died due to the attacks of Android 17 and 18.

Because Piccolo’s life and God were one, when Piccolo died, God died, the Angels died as well (this time Dende has not been taken up to take on this new position).

Main Time Line

Future Trunks used the time machine to return to the previous timeline to destroy Frieza’s father and son and give Goku the Heart Disease preventive medicine. But because in the process of training later Goku did not see any abnormal signs, so he did not bring and did not drink it.

The consequence of not taking preventive medicine is that in the battle with Android 19 and 20. Tien Shinhan has discovered Goku is losing his strength even though he has only been flying a short distance away, Goku also feels that his body is not right and turned into Super Saiyan and bombarded 19.

But the virus became more and more invasive and caused many side effects when transforming so Goku became tired and painful, he was defeated before Number 19 and Senzu couldn’t do anything at that time.

Luckily, Vegeta came to save Goku from danger, he was taken home by Yamcha and treated.

Not long after, Goku was fully recovered and joined his teammates against the Android & Cell.

Evil Buu (魔 ま 人 じ ん ブ ウ) is a tall, skinny, gray, creature that appears after Majin Buu “chases” the evil from his body.

Overview

Evil Buu represents the dark side of Majin Buu and possesses the majority of Majin Buu’s power, thin “opposite” to Good Buu (Buu left after Evil Buu was born) in both personality and appearance.

In order to save Satan from the sniper, Majin Buu gets bullets and goes mad, from the bullet hole on the body Majin Buu releases a black smoke, thereby producing Evil Buu, so the evil part of Majin Buu has “escaped ” go out. As soon as they appear, Buu badly kills Van Zant gunman hiding on the far hill, then attacks Good Buu.

Because of the majority of Majin Buu’s power went to Evil Buu, Good Buu quickly fell and was turned into Chocolate. Buu swallowed Good Buu into his stomach and transformed into … Super Buu (not back to Majin Buu like before).

About Jiren – The Strongest Universe 11’s Warrior

Question: How is Jiren in episode 131, does he lack the fighting spirit to the end?

Ishitani: First, Jiren was influenced by his past and he had the belief that “loneliness is power”. His own strength proved that this was true and until episode 130, it was lost.

Jiren is defeated by Goku Ultra instinct, a man who has become strong through motivation and support from his teammates. This caused Jiren to lose the belief that “loneliness is power”.

Kaioshin of universe 10: Gowasu

Gowasu is an elderly Core Person with light, yellow, wrinkled skin, pointy ears, and white hair in the style of a mohawk flipped to the side. He wears a gray and yellow coat with a violet long-sleeved shirt underneath, a light blue sash. He also wears green Potara.

As a Supreme Kai, he respects all living creatures, both good and bad. He is a very patient God and very wise and seems to have a certain addiction to tea.

Why will Broly be stronger than Beerus and probably Jiren?

Broly is going to be stronger than Beerus!! 

He is going to be stronger than a God of Destruction just like Jiren was back in the “Tournament of Power.”

Is Broly stronger than Jiren?!

The question we all want to know the answer to is: is Broly stronger than Jiren? Now, most fans do not think so, but this right here is saying that Broly is either very close in power or is even stronger.

There is a good debate going on about how Jiren compares to Beerus and other Gods of Destruction. We know that Jiren is “the mortal that not even a god of destruction can beat”, but there is debate among the fanbase as to the definition of “a” in this context. Does it mean ALL Gods of Destruction would lose against Jiren? Or does it only mean ONE specific God of Destruction lost against Jiren in the past? We don’t really know for sure. It should also be considered that in the manga, Beerus was able to take on all the other Gods of Destruction simultaneously and easily beat them all, suggesting he may be far above the rest. Even if Jiren is superior to the rest of the Gods, he still might not surpass Beerus. It is logical to expect Broly will be superior to Jiren, but debatable how he would therefore compare to Beerus. We’ll likely have to wait and see to determine just exactly how superior Broly is to opponents like Jiren.

Now, a lot of fans were saying that the “new enemy” always has to be stronger than the previous ones. So somehow, Broly is going to be stronger than a God of Destruction. 

My guess is the reason they are giving us the quote is that at some point in the movie, Beerus or Whis may say that Broly is “even” stronger than himself. Now the only thing we know is that Jiren was stronger than the Gods of Destruction.
